Christmas Luncheon

A great time was had by all who attended the annual Salesian Holiday Luncheon. Festive holiday drinks, gift exchange and raffles were enjoyed by all, not to mention the wonderful company and delicious food.

Cheers to another year of building connections in the community!! Original Joe’s never disappoints in making this a memorable annual event. The Club is thankful to those who support and are involved.

Salesian Boys’ and Girls’ Club Board of Directors Christmas Dinner

It was heartwarming to see everyone come together, enjoy delicious food, and share in the holiday spirit while listening to our members sing Christmas carols with such joy and enthusiasm. Moments like these remind us of the importance and joy of community.

On behalf of everyone at The Club, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our Board of Directors, their families, and our benefactors for their tireless support throughout the year. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to our mission. We look forward to many more celebrations in the coming year.

Programs:
Girls on the Run!

We are considering offering the following program in Spring and need to gauge our members’ interest. Please respond no later than 12/15 by clicking

Girls on the Run (GOTR)
is a nationally recognized youth development program designed to inspire confidence, build social-emotional skills, and foster a love of physical activity in girls through structured lessons and running-based activities. This program is particularly impactful for girls who benefit from mentorship, team-building, and physical fitness in a supportive environment.

For the Spring season, the GOTR program at Salesian Club would consist of:

: 8 weeks (March 10–May 10, 2025)

Sessions
: Twice weekly, 75-90 minutes per session

●
5K Celebration
: Marina Park 5K on May 10, 2025

●
Participant Age Group
: Team 1 Girls in grades 3, 4, and 5 Team 2 Girls in grades 6, 7, and 8

●
Team Size
: 6–16 participants per team, with 3-4 trained volunteer coaches per team.

Location
: Salesian Club grounds, utilizing outdoor and indoor spaces as needed

Please note: If you are planning on playing Girls Basketball there would most likely be a conflict with practices. It is best to commit to one or the other.

Sports Update

Heart and Hustle: Opening Weekend

The winter sports season is off to an electrifying start! On the basketball court, our boys’ teams battled, managing to take home 8 wins out of possible 14. Meanwhile, the 3rd Grade girls’ soccer team kicked off their season with a dominant 2-0 win, setting the tone for the new season. Stay tuned for more action, more highlights, and more wins as our teams continue to shine in week 2! Let’s go Salesian!
