Athletics are an important part of life at the Salesian Boys’ & Girls’ Club. Through team sports, physical activity, and healthy competition, members build confidence, discipline, teamwork, and Club pride.
Members learn how to practice, play, communicate, and support their teammates.
Athletes develop sport-specific skills, confidence, focus, and discipline.
Players are encouraged to show sportsmanship, effort, and responsibility.
Salesian athletes represent the Club, their teammates, and the Grigio tradition.
More Than the Game
Salesian athletics are about more than wins and losses. Practices, games, and team experiences help members develop perseverance, leadership, communication, and pride in being part of something larger than themselves.
CYO Team Sports
The Salesian Boys’ & Girls’ Club participates in the Catholic Youth Organization, commonly known as CYO. Competitive sports are available for members in 3rd through 8th grade.
Players build court awareness, communication, serving, passing, and teamwork.
Athletes develop field awareness, fitness, footwork, and team play.
Players compete, improve their skills, and represent Salesian with pride.
Members build fundamentals, confidence, discipline, and game IQ.
Athletes strengthen teamwork, ball handling, defense, and competitive focus.
Players learn court movement, communication, serving, and team responsibility.

Registration Notes
Families should complete all required registration steps before participating. Members who are not registered through the Activities section in TraxSolutions will not be able to participate.
Register through the Activities section in TraxSolutions before the season begins.
Families participating in CYO athletics should review current athletics registration instructions.
