Field Trips
Go places with The Club
Field trips give Salesian Boys’ & Girls’ Club members the chance to explore new places, experience the Bay Area, and take part in activities beyond the Club walls.
Throughout the year, members may have opportunities to attend performances, visit cultural destinations, participate in community activities, join special Club events, and take part in seasonal trips. These experiences help members build friendships, try something new, and create lasting memories with the Club.
Go Places with the Club
Salesian field trips are designed to give members safe, fun, and meaningful experiences outside of their regular after-school routine. Trips may include arts and culture outings, community events, Club sleepovers, outdoor adventures, and special seasonal opportunities.
Field trip availability varies throughout the year. Families should check the TraxSolutions Parent Portal regularly for current opportunities and registration details.

How to Sign Up
Families must register for field trips through the TraxSolutions Parent Portal under the Activity tab. Field trip sign-ups typically open three to four weeks before the scheduled field trip date.
Space may be limited, so families are encouraged to register early once sign-ups become available.
Field Trip Opportunities
Arts & Culture
The Club periodically provides opportunities for members to attend live performances and cultural events, including experiences such as American Conservatory Theater, the San Francisco Symphony, and local community or school productions.
These trips expose members to music, theatre, performance, and the arts in ways that connect directly to the creativity encouraged at the Club.
Community Trips
Community activities occur periodically throughout the year and give members opportunities to engage with the people, places, and organizations around them.
These outings help members feel connected to San Francisco and understand the larger community they are part of.
Club Sleepovers
Club sleepovers take place once a month and are a favorite tradition for many members.
These events give kids a fun and memorable way to spend time with friends, enjoy special activities, and experience the Club in a different way.
Ski Trip
The annual Salesian Ski Trip takes place during ski season and often includes an overnight trip to nearby ski resorts for middle school and high school members.
For many members, this trip is a chance to experience something new, build independence, and enjoy time outdoors with the Club.
A Safe Way to Explore
Every Salesian field trip is built around safety, supervision, and positive experiences for members. Whether the destination is a theatre, museum, community event, overnight activity, or ski resort, the goal is to help members explore, learn, and have fun with the support of trusted Club staff.
Registration Reminder
Field trip registration is completed through the TraxSolutions Parent Portal. Sign-ups are posted under the Activity tab and usually open three to four weeks prior to the trip date.
